Over the holidays my wife and I took a trip to Montreal. Very wonderful city! Will upload a couple of pics.

I'm looking forward to the arrival of a very kind Christmas gift from my mother-in-law, a lens kit for my Canon A540. At last I'll have true wide-angle! As well as longer telephoto. Can't wait to put these to good use.

I haven't really done anything *serious* photography-wise but have some projects in the back of my mind to try out. The new year is coming. With it perhaps more of a focus (err) on my work.

I also made a deal with my bro-in-law: if I draw something, he has to write something and vice versa -- he is a talented writer but has been distracted my other things so maybe this will be a good motivator for each of us to develop our abilities.
